Lets talk engagement parties! An engagement party is a great way for newly engaged couples to announce their future marital commitment and introduce family and friends. It enables both families to mingle and really get to know one another before the big day. If a couple has a year to plan their wedding, an engagement party at the start of the engagement, should go quite smoothly (along with the other events they intend to organize). If planning a really informal engagement party, there will be a bit more flexibility with the timeline.
If the couple prefers a formal affair and the wedding is in less then six months, the couple should consider all that needs to be accomplished when planning a number of events in such a short amount of time (engagement party, bridal/couple shower, bachelor/bachelorette party etc). If the couple does not intend to host more then an engagement party and the actual wedding, with focused planning, it may be possible to successfully plan an engagement party five to six months prior to the wedding. Couples, certainly, do not want to overwhelm guests with invites in such a short amount of time.
When considering which guests to invite to the engagement party, couples may have a difficult time deciding if the guest list should include those invited to the wedding as well as those not invited to the wedding. I usually recommend inviting guests to all events leading up to the big day. It’s a great way for guests to feel included and they’ll be eager to attend. Ultimately, this is a decision the couple has to make. If planning to have a wedding planner/coordinator, couples should ask what would be best for their individual situation (when considering budget, venue space, etc).
Humiliation, embarrassment, low self -esteem and nervousness are canada viagra cheap some of the factors which occupies the mind of an impotent male. Milk contains nutrients like protein, fat, mineral matter, water and cialis tablets lactose. Keep best price tadalafil out of the compass of youngsters and far from excellent success rates. Erection problems are common regardless of age, but in what seems like a paradigm shift, males below 40 years and viagra from canada so have also started to complain about this problem.
If a couple has a year to plan their wedding, they should plan to host their engagement party seven to eight months prior to the wedding date. There will be an abundance of things to do in those months leading up to the wedding, and they’ll want everything to remain as organized and orderly as possible. Couples should be sure to pick a venue catered to their idea of an awesome engagement party. Keep in mind, there are various “hosting” options available, from the privacy of their home to a large upscale venue. They shouldn’t be afraid to keep-it-simple or go-all-out. An engagement party is coordinated based on their preferred method of theme, time, place etc. An engagement party can be a way to “wow” guest and they’ll be looking forward to attending all upcoming events.
Lastly, couples should not expect gifts at the engagement party. Some guest may bring some token of congratulations, but the couple should not open them until all guest have left. Also, couples should be sure to send out thank you cards shortly after the event to show their appreciation. Happy Planning!

yes, I also had an engagement party , mine was grand lol but loved every min of it and now when we look back at photos and show our kids how we looked and all, it’s wonderful to be able to share our celebrations with our kids: )
Engagement parties seem to be getting increasingly popular and I think they are a lovely way to begin the celebration with everyone.
We had a very informal party as my husband wasn’t very keen in the idea. We ended up having a BBQ in our backyard which was great as we were able to invite everyone. We didnt have anything formal like a cake, but we did have speeches.
Looking back now, Im glad I convinced my husband to at least have an informal party!
@Catherine Holt….It is very popular, but difficult to convince couples that it doesn’t have to be a super formal affairs. If your budget and timeline can handle it I say “go for it” but if not, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a simple approach. Most guest are just happy you invited them and are genuinely happy for the couple. Thanks for your comment!
