So where to start? How many salons to visit? What should you look for? Check all warnings in order not to be left without a wedding dress only a few months before the wedding.
I do not know whether those who haven’t dreamt of their wedding dress since they were little girls exist and for the last few many years have a picture of their wedding dress in their head. Or maybe even on paper. Unless, it is a dress that you drew in 1st grade that your mother has carefully kept to show her grandchildren or perhaps to your fiancé at the rehearsal dinner. Or even better – his parents when they come to meet them. Oh, that awaits you too, but that’s a whole other story.
But before that – there is the search for the dress. I guess that once before possibly your future maid of honor (if your friendship survives all that is waiting for you until the wedding day) and you have planned to stop by a wedding dress salon out of boredom, as – “let’s see what fits even though a wedding is not planned”. And no, you’re not the only one that came to mind. I know a bunch of girls who really did that. And had fun (I’m one of them). I hope this will not come to be condemned from the possible salon owners, who might follow this website. If so, I’m so sorry.
Well, first a warning to all of you who have not yet started – do not go on the tour soon! Why? Read on.
So where do you start? How many salons to visit? This leads to the second warning – do not go to many salons! Why? Eh … I’ll get back to the story. If you do not have a picture of the wedding dress in your head, you can forget about having your wedding dress handmade as an option because – who else is going to have dresses sewn next to a large selection of wedding dresses on which teams of top designers work and no one individual cannot do as good as they are?! Or maybe I’m wrong…
Warning No. 2 – Never say never!
You booked an appointment at a famous salon and you must admit that you felt a tingling at the doorway. Not from the beauty of exposed wedding dresses, but from the realization that this is not a joke and that you are really getting married and that you will, in a not too distant future, wear one of them. Uh … Or maybe not, because as I hinted – this is only the first salon in which you will go. Though you hadn’t had a vision of the wedding dress in your head, you certainly had here and there, looked in the mirror and thought about what would suit you and what not! But it doesn’t matter – it’s not a bad thing to try out several models, you might be surprised.
Warning No. 3: Prepare to be surprised!
Ok, what awaits you in the salon? Surely a nice lady who will fly around you and convince you that you are the most beautiful bride that entered into the salon that day. There are those who will try to convince you that you’re the most beautiful woman in the world and that the dress you’ve tried was made for you even if it’s 3 sizes too big and highlights your hips … in a bad way. Do not believe everything you hear –
Warning No. 4:
You’ll see all kinds’ of them, but they all have one thing in common – they really will do their best to sell you the dress. You should appreciate it as the competition is now big and they need to know how to do their job. If she’s not going to do her job, there are those who will, for less money and with a bigger smile. When I was shopping for a wedding dress with my friend we entered one wedding dress salon and there was this older lady who acted as if we came to steal a wedding dress, while she had to hand-sew 3542 Swarovski crystals on a wedding dress. Turn, run! Who knows, maybe somewhere in there was her perfect wedding dress (definitely without Swarovski crystals), but we’ll never know.
There are a number of cures viagra on line suggested by the Ayurveda, but 4T Plus capsules and Overnight oil. The ingredients found in the medicine are levitra tabs also obtainable for men with affected psychological health. You can get the drug sitting at your home in cheap. sildenafil side effects It must buy cialis be kept away from extreme icy, wet and dry surrounding.
Back to the adventure in the first salon. After the initial pessimism, maybe the nice lady managed to convince you that you’re the most beautiful and most wonderful in the world, perhaps the smartest, so the dress that you threw just a tiny bit of an eye on shined on you and the next day your reserved it.
Your maid of honor will say that that was easy and that she thought you will be much pickier! She still does not know what awaits us. You slept through the day, the next day you brought your mom to give her blessing and you reserved it! And of course the accompanying down payment. Down payment? Although you have heard that there are salons that do not require a down payment, you haven’t bumped into one yet – everyone now has a 10% policy, the rest of the amount paid before the wedding. Fair play. Do not be angry about it, it’s okay for salons to in some way ensure that you will stay true to just them, especially when you decide for the wedding dress in advance.
So be smart and listen to warning No. 5: Do not reserve the dress too early! It is somehow linked to the first warning, but let’s find both very important! You are very happy that it went well, you’re sure of your choice, and the lady has confirmed that this is a very popular wedding dress! Popular??
Warning No. 6: Never, but never opt for a “popular” wedding dress!
And yes, get a wedding dress from the collection, which arrives this year! I always thought it’s overkill because a wedding dress should be for all time, not just modern for one year! But nevertheless, don’t forget one important thing – wedding dresses are very sensitive, made of delicate fabrics, the finest lace and silk, which might survive one dance, but five of them – no!
If you choose a “popular” one you’ll probably see “your” wedding dress on Facebook on one girl / woman two weeks later. Ok, you’ll decide to ignore it. Less than a month later – here it will be again! Your mother will probably say that on you it looked much better. Then at a coffee with a cousin who is getting married three months earlier and you might hear her enthusiastic: “Look at the wedding dress I booked!”
Warning No. 7: Make sure that anyone from your close family or friends hasn’t opted for the same wedding dress! Believe it or not, that happens!
“Hello, my dearest maid of honor, the search for the wedding dress continues…”
