WMP: When and how did you become interested in your field of work?
Eva: Crafting has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Basically, if its a craft, I have probably tried it. I’ve done the usual ones as well as making porcelain dolls and darkroom photography.
WMP: How long have you been in this business?
Eva: After college, I couldn’t find a full time teaching job. I became employed in a local bridal shop and from there I became a bridal consultant, worked with a wedding photographer and now my flowers. My father was a master baker who made incredible wedding cakes as well.
WMP: What 3 words describe your work
Eva: Creative, Precise, Fun

WMP: What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
WMP: How large, or established, is the business/organization you currently govern? Are you looking to grow?
Eva: My business is a young one at present and a one-woman operation. It takes time to grow and its an exciting journey along the way.
WMP: Tell us about your most recent project? What was the most difficult and/or relaxed aspect of it?
Eva: I make both fabric and paper wedding bouquets/boutonnieres. One project I recently completed was a Victorian styled fan made entirely from vintage components…the fabric, jewelry, lace and the handle. A labor of love. As every crafts person will tell you, the actual item won’t show you the time spent in actually thinking it through.
WMP: What sets your business/ organization apart from others of an identical nature?
Eva: I love working with brides. Their sheer enthusiasm, romance, and joy is a pleasure to work with. I take it seriously because I know that their flowers are an important part of their day and they need the transaction to move as smoothly as possible. I am in communication with them often in the order process and if they have any questions, they are answered promptly. Another thing that sets me apart is that I am known for producing and processing rush orders.
WMP: What do you enjoy most about what you do?
Eva: I love making the flowers and I get gratification every time I see a finished bouquet and having the bride’s satisfaction.
WMP: What are common misconceptions about your services?
Eva: I imagine one that many of us have to deal with…that some people just don’t understand that quality comes with a price…my bouquets are handmade and I am a perfectionist with my work and it has taken time to get to that point.
WMP: If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
Eva: That I would be able to do without sleep!
WMP: Are you a home based business? Or have you established your own office space?
Eva: Yes, I am a home based business.
WMP: Where do you see yourself in next 3-5 years?
Eva: In the next 3-5 years I see myself with additional products and continually evolving. Still working personally with the brides because I enjoy that process. Having a larger workspace and the ability to concentrate on the actual flowers and someone else to concentrate on the shipping aspects.
WMP:Your most successful/best selling product ?
Eva: My music rose bouquets and my comic book bouquets are my best sellers.
