One of the key decisions that will determine your big day is to select the location. For a fairy-tale atmosphere and the event of your dreams ambient at the space itself is primarily responsible, which is why outdoor weddings are a never ending trend.
Before, traditional wedding ceremony took place in enclosed spaces, such as various restaurants, conference rooms, and special rooms intended solely for that occasion. The location also dictates the entire wedding process, which is why it is very similar in most circumstances. But more and more young couples want their wedding to be special, choosing modern and urban locations.
One of the leading trends is the so-called American type of wedding or outdoor wedding. The beauty of the natural environment indisputably will brighten up a wedding ceremony and will make you feel like characters from some romantic fairy tale.
This type of a classic wedding primarily distinguishes a time limit and a somewhat higher price. Starting around noon, but, in most cases, the ceremony ends just after midnight, because of possible noise and interference to the environment. But it is also specific to the location, given that some properties are spacious enough and therefore are an appropriate celebration location for the whole night.
Furthermore, the most common option for outdoor weddings involves pitching a tent, as a safety protection from the elements. Because of the extra effort and the necessary mounting equipment, the cost in this case will be more than the usual. However, certain locations that specialize in this type of service have built a hall, so there is no need for getting tents up and a drastically higher cost. So guests will spend about 3 hours outdoors, where they will be served a welcome drink and a cold appetizer. After that, the celebration can be moved to the hall, where a hot soup is served first as it is the best way to warm up.
There is also an option that includes a full outdoor wedding with no covered space. In this case, the wedding is held exclusively during the day and as protection from the sun umbrellas are used. However, bids for this option are quite limited, given that the risk of bad weather is always present.
Among the most popular locations are parks, beaches, farms and national parks, with some unconventional newlyweds organizing weddings in cottages or rented spacious homes. When such options are concerned, it is necessary to harness more effort and patience during the organization than when it comes to space design for the wedding.

Beautiful! Weddings near water or trees are just magical! I absolutely LOVE outdoor weddings – and can say I have probably photographed more unusual weddings outdoors than most UK-based wedding photographers, as I travel everywhere for exciting weddings, Sadly in the UK outdoor wedding ceremonies are not legal. Couples here in England (not in Scotland though) are limited to wedding ceremonies held under a roof for which a hefty license fee has been paid by the venue owners! xx Elaine
