A few weeks ago I mentioned my Easter wedding which also featured Bebe’s first bride!  I have been asked to provide you with more photos and the inspiration behind them!

My client loves Tuscany.  She loves it’s natural beauty with its rolling hillsides and natural flowers, rustic cuisine, incredible wine, authentic music and the true charm of this beautiful region.  It is truly hypnotic.  This became the base of our wedding design.  In addition, the wedding was on Easter Sunday.  We decided to infuse both of these ideas into our design, and use them as our (bridal) muse.

All of the events were held at their home in Malibu, California.  Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, our clients took their vows in front of their close friends and family.  Our colors ranged from soft pinks to brilliant orange, purple and shades of yellow and blue, to the use of herbs like lavender.  All of these were delicately balanced throughout the various events.  Our day started with an Easter brunch.  As our guests sipped champagne and enjoyed the views, our bride got ready for her moment!

We had cocktail tables set around the event space.  Our linens were all provided by La Tavola Linens .  They have an amazing line of linens.  Their textures and colors are wonderful and we love featuring them!  For our adult table, we created one feasting table.  Each place setting used one of the bride’s own wicker charges, giving it a personal touch.  The bride and her friend also had a different wedding tradition, primarily from Ireland, at each place setting.  The guests read these aloud to the delight of the intimate group, creating great conversations!  We used the same color palette for the linens, with contrasting designs between the napkins and tablecloths.

The children’s table was designed with a more whimsical look.  We used spring pails filled with pastel flowers and playful children’s toys in each!  The children had individual place-mats that they colored prior to dinner.  It kept them busy and made the tabletops personal to them.

The bride had asked us to use some of her grandmother’s china in the décor.  We filled her teacups with flowers and placed them around the house.  We also incorporated her personal design elements throughout the space.
